A Perfect Ponytail You Can Do in 4 Easy Steps For the mornings when you hit the snooze button, your hair is a mess and you need a quick fix

I have at least one morning a week and think to myself: ‘My hair is a mess and I do not have time to wash it’. Being guilty of this on a weekly basis does not remove fact that I still want to turn up to work looking well groomed. With the right tools, this is possible.

This is one of my go to hair styles that anyone can do. It will suit most hair lengths, from long bobs to long hair. The thing I love most about this style (apart from being super-quick) is that it actually makes your hair look longer, bonus!

Step 1

Divide you hair into two, horizontally. Put the top half of your hair into a ponytail and secure with a hairband.

Step 1

Step 2

Place the bottom half in a ponytail directly underneath the top one and secure with a hairband.
Step 2

Step 3

Place the top ponytail over the bottom one. Secure both ponytails together with a hairband. Make sure you fasten the hairband so it is resting just below the the hair band of the bottom ponytail.

Step3

Step 4

Fan out the top part of the ponytail. You can do this just enough to cover the parting or you can be a bit more playful and pull it out more. Then brush the bottom part to help join both ponytails.

Step 4

There are lots of others ways to adapt this up style (such as adding a quiff). Just in its basic form it will not take you longer than 3-5 minuets and will looking elegant with any outfit for work.

Top Tip: Make sure you match your hairbands to your hair colour to keep the look professional.
