This week we are talking about all things beauty. We are starting off with hair! Now a girls hair can make her feel on top of the world! We all know the difference a great hair day can make to our confidence. Imagine then if you lost your hair?
I know beauty comes from within, but my hair makes me feel confident. The feeling of being able to style my hair depending on my mood can put me in the right mindset for the day ahead. I cannot imagine what it would be like to lose all my hair. This is what is happening to young ladies at this very moment. I was surprised to hear about many young girls who are losing their hair due to cancer treatments they are receiving. We can only imagine what these brave young ladies are facing. I then realized my long hair could be put to better use.
Little Princess Trust based in the UK is one amazing charity set up to help children who have cancer and suffering with hair lose due to side affects of their treatments.
Along with experienced hairdressers, the charity offer real wigs to young ladies to try and give them a natural look and feel. In order to do this they need donations of real hair.
For those of you that follow us you will know how much I (Blondbee) love my long hair and all the fun styles I create with it.
This month with the help of Pastels Hair Salon, Al Wasl Rod, Dubai I am going to cut off my pony tail and donate it to the Little Princess Trust so they can use it to make someone else happy. My hair will be treated and then made into a real wig for a child suffering from hair loss due to cancer treatments.
We would love our readers to get involved, this is how you can help.
If you would like to donate your own hair then you can find out more information on their Facebook page.
I have to admit, I am a little nervous as I have never had short hair but I know it will make someone else very happy. Keep an eye out on the blog for the new hairstyle! I will let you know how I am getting on with short hair and if it really is easy to manage.
Will you donate your hair too? Let us know in the comments section below and we can help you get involved.
